Summer Strings 2024

The series of string reading sessions for summer 2024 was very well received at Magnolia Heights Senior Living in Franklin, The Highlands in Westborough, and at the Hopkinton Community Television station. Dozens of string players from around eastern Massachusetts read through, polished, and played music from Hayden and Mozart to Gershwin and Leroy Anderson. Soloists were drawn from within the group, and all was under the expert leadership of our music director, Max Hobart.

Begun in the summer of 2023, the 2024 series carried on a new form of outreach for the Metrowest Symphony, and we look forward to future summers of great string music!
